Drew: The Omen II
I mentioned Buchholz kicked off our last 10 game losing streak http://buzzingthetowersawx.blogspot.ca/2014/06/apocalypse-now.html . Well, step right up Stephen Drew as we are now in the loss column 5 deep since his arrival. Also, you need a new prescription for those glasses, Steve ol' boy (1-11 with 4 Ks).
Speaking of Clay, he was caught here pitching a 3 inning simulated game in Detroit today.
The game took a little over three hours to play as Clay kept throwing over to first and was complaining that it was too hot. He said he thinks he might have lost ten pounds.
While Dustin backed up his quote yesterday and said he would get hot, the rest of the offense remains in a deep freeze, especially the outfield.
