Who died and made you Mark Bellhorn?

Yeah, I said it -  Mark Bellhorn. The same guy who struck out 177 times as a # 2 hole hitter during the regular season delivered the deciding shot in Game 6. His opposite field drive just cleared the left field fence giving the Sawx a 4-0 lead at that point. This was also the game A-Rod slapped the ball out of Bronson Arroyo's glove to temporarily score Jeter from first in the 8th inning. Just another one of Rodriguez's classy baseball moves. Remember in Toronto when he was yelling at a fielder,  Howie Clark, trying to catch a pop up? What a dink!

Not to be forgotten in this game was Curt Schilling. Pitching with a sutured tendon in his right ankle, Curt would go 7 strong innings giving up only four hits and one earned run. Earlier in the series, Schilling only lasted 3 innings in Game 1 giving up 6 hits and 6 ER and was apologetic for not being able to answer the bell for his team. His effort in Game 6 will be forever remembered in Red Sox folklore, and a second bloody sock he wore in the World Series against the Cardinals was sold in an auction for a shade over $92,000 in 2013.
